  • We have five award categories this year and we’ve made the voting process easy for you. We’re asking all Chamber members to vote for candidates that our Board of Directors has nominated in the Outstanding Citizen of the Year and Community Organization of the Year, and to nominate/vote for one candidate in each of the remaining three categories: New Business of the Year, Small Business of the Year, and People’s Choice Business of the Year. Just click on the link below to start your voting. Your nomination is your vote!

All Chamber members in good standing are eligible for these awards; if you’re not sure if your favorite business is a Chamber member, you can check our website.

Just click on the link below to get started. Please share this email with other employees, volunteers, and Board members in your Chamber-member business, as we would like to engage as many of our Chamber members as possible.

If you have any questions about the Awards and the voting, please contact info@brightonchamber.com or 303-659-0223.

    • About

Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) is a national, volunteer-based, nonprofit organization that recruits, trains and supports community volunteers, CASAs, to represent the best interests of child victims of abuse and neglect that are currently in the judicial system. CASA Volunteers ensure that the child's physical, mental, educational, and emotional needs are being met, and advocate for the child in court, all the while supporting them in their journey to find a safe and permanent home.

CASA Volunteers are ordinary citizens, like you, doing extraordinary work. They establish stable relationships with children who have experienced abuse or neglect, getting to know their unique history and making informed recommendations to the court.

As a nonprofit organization, we are 100% funded by donations from community support, which allows us to continue to provide crucial advocacy for children who have experienced abuse or neglect in our community. In Adams & Broomfield Counties alone, there are approximately 1,600 children with an open abuse and neglect case each year. Over the last year, we were proud to serve over 620 children, but there are still many more children without a CASA Volunteer to be their voice and speak up for them in court.

If you are interested in joining our work by becoming a volunteer or donor, visit CASA 17th.org.
