    Event Description:

    The 1st annual Greater Brighton chamber of commerce teacher tour was held in 1959 to welcome new teachers to the business community in Brighton, Colorado. here we are today, committed to keeping this 60-year-old tradition alive. this year we are expecting to welcome 250 new teachers from SD27j to our business community. many of these teachers are new to our area, and we would like to assist them with their transition by introducing them to the resources, products, and services available to them in their district.

    The Greater Brighton chamber of commerce invites you to show your support for the educators of our community by helping to make this year's event a huge success. on Wednesday, august 3rd, we are planning to host our 63rd annual new teacher welcome reception, held at Rodger Quist Middle School!

    This year's event is a new format. After COVID, some new options to support our new neighbors have been found. we recommend businesses to think of creative and fun ways to encourage teachers to take advantage of what you have to offer! with your help, teachers will have a welcoming 1st impression of our community.

    *Please note this commitment is actually a total expense of an average of $200-$250 per table
    • 1/3 page ad in the Brighton teacher Resource Guide (placed at each seat)
    • Business listing in the Brighton Teacher Resource Guide
    • Unmanned booth (this means you can have a table set up with your info all three days of the teacher training Aug. 1-3 but you won't have a person attending the table)
    • Provide a $15-$20 gift card at each place setting at your sponsored table (8 teachers per table)
    • Provide a centerpiece that would be a giveaway for someone at your table (we will place a sticker under one seat at each table). This centerpiece can be teacher supplies, flowers, etc.
    • Freedom to decorate your table however you like: black linens provided
