We’re asking all Chamber members to vote for candidates that our Board of Directors has nominated in the Outstanding Citizen of the Year and Community Organization of the Year, and to nominate/vote for one candidate in each of the remaining three categories: New Business of the Year, Small Business of the Year, and People’s Choice Business of the Year. All Chamber members in good standing are eligible for these awards; if you’re not sure if your favorite business is a Chamber member, you can check our website.

    Name: Downtown Haunt Walk
    Date: October 29, 2021
    Time: 5:30 PM - 7:00 PM MDT
    Event Description:

Join us for a deep dive into the spooky side of Downtown Brighton this October during the Brighton Haunt Walk and meet the ghosts of the Gilded Age. Many of the incredible homes and businesses are still standing and their spirits linger waiting to divulge their secrets in a haunted history tour and ghost investigation.

This 90 minute tour covers a variety of buildings in the downtown area with stops in some of the most notoriously haunted buildings like the 1886 Church, Brighton's first barbershop, a hidden tunnel entrance that once traveled under Main St. and Brighton's very own brothel. Who knows, you might receive a tap on the shoulder or a nudge from behind when no one is visible. At the very least you'll learn some fascinating facts about Brighton's rich history.

Disclosure - All Tour activities are termed "at your own risk" and shall not hold individuals, businesses or others liable for any injuries or happenings incurred before, during or after tours.

Each tour will meet at Bee & Thistle Marketshops 43 N. Main St. at 5:15 on the evening of your choice. Tours will finish at The Porch & Company around 7pm where you are welcome to enjoy a complementary beverage and have a chance to chat about the evening's experience with fellow survivors.
    Date/Time Information:
Tours will start promptly at 5:30pm. Each tour will take a maximum of 15 pre-booked attendees to walk the streets with one or more tour guide(s) who will recant stories from a collection of historic facts and Ol'Timer recollections. Friday and Saturdays throughout October
