Brighton Chamber of Commerce Announces the Re-launch of “Teacher of the Month”
August 25, 2011---Brighton, CO--- The Brighton Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce the re-launch of their “Teacher of the Month” education recognition program. The Chamber sees value in honoring the dedication of teacher’s in the community and recognizing the great impact that their time, energy and resources has on all facets of Brighton. Each month a selection committee of business leaders will evaluate nomination forms and select one teacher who has gone above and beyond for their students. Teachers will be recognized with gift bags filled with items and gift certificates from local businesses valued up to $250.
The first round of nominations is officially open from August 20-September 20, 2011. The first teacher will be recognized shortly after September 20. People can find nomination forms by visiting www.brightonchamber.com and clicking on the “Businesses Supporting Education” link. Forms can also be picked up at Brighton Chamber of Commerce offices located at 1850 Egbert St, Ste 140 in Brighton or emailed by contacting jabbott@brightonchamber.com.
“The Brighton Chamber of Commerce wants teachers to understand the support and gratitude that the business community has for what they do for our community,” said Chamber Board Chairman Brian Lewis.
